Control inflammation on the ocular surface quickly, safely, and naturally with OcuGraft.
OcuGraft is an amniotic membrane used to re-epithelize the cornea when the ocular surface cells have been damaged, or the underlying stroma is inflamed or scarred.
OcuGraft serves as a barrier and provides protective coverage from the surrounding environment to acute and chronic ocular wounds.
OcuGraft is designed to help re-epithelize the cornea when the ocular surface cells have been damaged, or the underlying stroma is inflamed or scarred.
The OcuGraft Difference
A dual layer structure that creates a more robust ocular graft with improved handling characteristics.
Processed with minimal manipulation to the amnion tissue preserving the inherent biologic components including Heavy Chain Hyaluronic Acid.
Placing OcuGraft is as easy as placing a contact lens and can easily be integrated into any eye care practice.
OcuGraft can be used in combination with topical agents.
The components present in amniotic tissue control inflammation on the ocular surface quickly, safely, and naturally to promote regenerative healing and prevent scarring.
OcuGraft is designed to:
• Re-epithelize the cornea
• Reduce inflammation
• Provide long-lasting reduction of symptoms
• Facilitate healing of the ocular surface
OcuGraft contains a molecular complex called high molecular weight or “heavy-chain” hyaluronic acid (“HC-HA”). OcuGraft is an amniotic membrane and many of the regenerative properties of amniotic tissue have been attributed to HC-HA.
HC-HA and amniotic tissue have been evaluated in both pre-clinical and clinical peer reviewed studies demonstrating the ability to reduce inflammation and promote cellular expansion. OcuGraft has been through rigorous product safety testing and stringent biocompatibility testing conducted by an independent third-party GLP compliant research laboratory.
OcuGraft is used to treat ocular conditions such as dry eye syndrome, keratitis, corneal ulcers, chemical burns, recurrent corneal erosion, epithelial defects and other ocular surface diseases such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome.
